Participants can earn up to 8 hours of nursing education contact hours with the completion of the entire course either at a live seminar, webinar or taking the entire course on-line.

Attendance is limited at each event. Please register early to reserve your seat.

Registration for all conferences begins at 7:00am, sessions begin promptly at 7:30am each day. Full attendance is required to earn 8 contact hours. There will be a 1-hour lunch break and two ½ hour breaks. Lunch is on your own. Attendees are encouraged to bring your own food for snacks and lunch. At some locations we have arranged for a Gluten Free Food Truck to be available. Beverage service will be provided throughout the day at each event. The day will conclude at 17:30 / 5:30pm.

Celiac Disease and Non-Celiac Gluten Sensitivity for Nurses and Health Care Providers is appropriate for all health care providers including but not limited to Nurses, Doctors, PTs, OTs, Pharmacists, RDs, Nutritionists, Paramedics, CNAs, MAs, Hospital Administrators, Chefs, All facility Administrators, Mental Health practitioners, food service professionals, parents, teachers, everyone interested in learning more about celiac disease and non-celiac gluten sensitivity is welcome and encouraged to attend.

FAQ's

The course is open to all people that are interested in Celiac Disease, NCGS, intestinal health and wellness, nutrition, functional and integrative medicine, especially all nurses and health care practitioners from all specialties and disciplines. Everyone interested is welcome and encouraged to attend.

In order to receive credit for the course, the course needs to be attended for all 8 hours. Partial credits will not be given. You will have an opportunity to make up any missed sessions at another session, via a future webinar (not scheduled yet) or online (not available at this time).

Unfortunately, we are unable to give discounted rates. Please let us know if this is an issue as we may have money available for a student scholarship. Preferences will be given to students in a medically related discipline such as nursing, medical or nutrition. This is at the discretion of the organizers and all decisions are final.

We do not need volunteers and it is not possible to work in exchange for attendance at this event at this time.

Beverage service will be available throughout the conference. This will include coffee, decaf coffee, hot tea and water. No, catering services will be available. Meals are on your own. You are encouraged to bring your own food or research places to eat at each event. Several venues have dining services available on-site, others have restaurants nearby.

Yes, please do. You are encouraged to bring refillable water bottles and coffee mugs, but there will be cups available on-site.

A few of the hotel venues have hotel rooms that have been set aside for you to book for the conference. The cost of the hotel or lodging is not included in the cost for the conference.

The majority of the venues have free parking available on-site. Please note any additional information that is available for each venue when you are registering. Carpooling is encouraged.

Requirements for Successful Completion of this CNE Activity

In order to obtain a Certificate of Successful Completion for this activity, the learner must complete the following criteria:

  • Sign the attendance sheet or log in for each session.
  • Attend the entire 1-day course, attending and participating in all sessions, OR take the course on-line, on your own time with completion of the course within 60 days of the start date.
  • Complete the course evaluation and post-test before you leave each full day session, OR online after completing all 8 one-hour sessions
  • Pass the quiz with 100%, if needed, participants will be allowed to retest twice. If the participant is not able to attain a score of 100% after taking the quiz a total of three (3) times, the course must be retaken, without further monetary charge to the participant, either in person or on-line, and the quiz must be taken with a score of 100% in order to earn the Certificate of Completion.

Participants who successfully complete the above requirements will receive a Certificate of Successful Completion before you leave at the end of the day OR the Certificate of Completion will be emailed to you within one week of successful completion of the course.
